There are a lot of different activities you can plan to fulfill this requirement. Here are two we did:
- We put on a play that the girls prepared (see Learning and Living the Gospel #6).
- We prepared a program where the girls each shared a couple of activities that they enjoyed and the girls sang a song, and we prepared a dinner for our parents.

I wanted the girls to go home with something from their recognition activities, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money or go beyond the counsel in the Faith in God for Girls guidebook, which reads, “Parents and leaders should help the children understand that the joy of living the gospel is the most important reward.” I decided to make up “business” cards for each activity. I “awarded” these cards at the end of the activity. The girls and their parents got a physical reminder of their accomplishments. Feel free to download and use these cards.
